And I looked ‘round at the world, at all the wars and strife and I thought, “Dear Jesus, if only we were about to welcome You into the world in the flesh once more.”
And He replied, “But that’s what it was all for… Me, coming into the world, in the flesh, through you–millions and millions of ‘Christs in human form’ multiplied and multiplying across the Earth.”
Oh yeah, it’s “Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
We are His hands, His feet, His love and words come in the flesh. That’s why the baby was born, why He grew to a man who showed us what God is like, why he died and walked out of the grave—in order to live in us—to be Christ in us.
At least that was the plan.
Christmas resolution: It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.
